S.E.L.F. Image Awards Foundation (S.I.A.F.) Scholarship

 Founded in 2009, the S.E.L.F. Image Awards Foundation [Sisters Empowered for Life by Faith] is a non-profit 501c(3) organization dedicated to ending domestic and sexual violence. Our mission is to empower, engage, and enrich the partnership of advocates, concerned citizens, grassroots and faith-based organizations, and those who care deeply about addressing the rising epidemic of domestic and sexual violence.

At the core of our mission is the commitment to make a real impact by connecting like minds for tangible difference. We provide news, updates, advocacy, referrals, resources, and direct services for individuals and families affected by domestic and sexual violence.

Your support is crucial in helping women build self-esteem and independence through education. Together, we are stronger, and through the grace of our Father God, who can do anything but fail, we strive to create a lasting impact.

The S.E.L.F. Image Awards Foundation (S.I.A.F.) actively seeks donations and hosts fundraisers throughout the year to raise awareness about the devastating impact of domestic violence. These efforts culminate in a biennial awards ceremony where we present tuition-free scholarships to women studying the mastery of natural hair care.

The S.I.A.F. Board carefully selects and designates awards to facilities, shelters, individuals, and services that actively support victims and survivors. Additionally, we honor industry leaders in the natural hair care business who provide education, support, and employment opportunities, contributing to their clients' beauty—both inside and out.
